Kiatineni is a public county secondary school. It is a mixed day and boarding secondary school and church sponsored. The school offers 8-4-4 curriculum.

The school has all the infrastructure required for academic excellence such as a functional computer laboratory, a library, a functional science laboratory, a modern administration block, a school bus for academic trips and a team of dedicated teachers and support staff.

Academic excellence is the core business and this has enabled us to work harmoniously and  in peace. All activities are geared towards this very worthy cause. Discipline is highly regarded and this enabled us too harmoniously and in peace.

The school performs very well in national examinations and many students have joined the university directly. In 2020 the school had a mean of 4.8 and was position 7/41 in the sub county; while in 2021 the school improved to a mean of 5.03 and position 5/41 in the sub county.
